Words from Lötschental

Due to the landslide disaster in Blatten and Ried in the Lötschental, our house, a life's work of several generations, was completely destroyed and buried deep under rubble. 

Our team and our families are all safe. But of course we are all deeply shaken and endlessly sad. We are now taking day by day to realize this situation and to sort ourselves anew. We are supported by many comforting expressions of solidarity and find strength in believing in the future - for the Lötschental and for us. 

We would like to thank you, dear guests, for your many years of “hospitality” and the memories you share with us. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to answer all emails and questions immediately - thank you for your understanding.

Old traditions and the scent of the big wide world combine harmoniously at the Hotel Nest-und Bietschhorn. Opened in 1868, the hotel in Blatten is the oldest hotel in the Lötschental. In 2011, the hotel was taken over by the next generation, who brought an "esprit fraîcheur" to the historic building.

The 3*** Hotel Nest-und Bietschhorn has 15 cozy, quiet rooms. These are furnished in fir wood and equipped with built-in bathrooms and functional furnishings. A lobby with TV, a lounge with children's play corner and an interesting library invite you to relax and discover.
