Words from Lötschental

Due to the landslide disaster in Blatten and Ried in the Lötschental, our house, a life's work of several generations, was completely destroyed and buried deep under rubble. 

Our team and our families are all safe. But of course we are all deeply shaken and endlessly sad. We are now taking day by day to realize this situation and to sort ourselves anew. We are supported by many comforting expressions of solidarity and find strength in believing in the future - for the Lötschental and for us. 

We would like to thank you, dear guests, for your many years of “hospitality” and the memories you share with us. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to answer all emails and questions immediately - thank you for your understanding. 

We are happy to recommend other great, owner-managed family businesses in the Swiss Alps for your mountain summer stays.

Laurent opens his recipe book with great passion and lets you discover the diversity of his cuisine fraîcheur. Something from the Lötschental, a bit of French tradition and aromas from all over the world are the ingredients for his exceptional creations. They have once again been awarded 15 points by Gault Millau 2025 and 7 out of 10 points in the Guide Bleu. We are listed in the Michelin Guide with a Bib Gourmand. We are proud of this!
